In this Tamil VLOG, our family is traveling from Salem to Trichy for visiting my friends and relatives. We bypassed St. Joseph's College in Tiruchirappalli. Visited Tiruchirappalli Rock Fort during an evening time and stayed till night. There are two Hindu temples inside, the Ucchi Pillayar Temple, Rockfort and the Thayumanaswami Temple, Rockfort. Had our dinner at Shri Sangeethas Restaurant which is located opposite to the Trichy Bus Stand. Next day morning, we visited Ranganathaswamy Temple, Srirangam. Srirangam temple is often listed as the largest functioning Hindu temple in the world, the still larger Angkor Wat being the largest existing temple. The temple is an active Hindu house of worship and follows the Tenkalai tradition of Sri Vaishnavism. Srirangam is the foremost of the eight selfmanifested shrines (Swayam Vyakata Kshetras ) of Lord Vishnu. Hope you all enjoyed this USA Tamil VLOG.
