It was announced in August 2011 that the vessel (S.S. Keewatin) had been sold to Skyline International Developments Inc. S.S. Keewatin was moving back to her home port of Port McNicoll, Ontario. Once the pride of Canadian Pacific Railway’s Great Lakes Steamship fleet, and a time capsule of Canadian History, tells her story “Search for the Shore”. On 23 June 2012, she began her final journey of restoration and then permanent display as a maritime museum and event facility. Please help support Friends of Keewatin.
