You'd be forgiven for not realising that the 2024 SsangYong Musso is a thing. After all, it competes in the incredibly competitive midsize ute segment, which is currently dominated by the Ford Ranger, Toyota HiLux and Isuzu DMax. Needless to say, the Korean model has its work cut for itself.
It's no surprise, then, that the Musso has been given an update to keep it fresh against its rivals – and that's before you take into account the very recent arrival of the nextgeneration Mitsubishi Triton. Either way, the SsangYong has upgraded to a 12.3inch touchscreen multimedia system (up from 8.0 inches) and a 12.3inch digital instrument cluster (up from 10.25 inches), plus there's more.
In this expert review, CarsGuide Contributing Journalist Emily Agar and her family of three spend a week living with the Musso's longwheelbase XLV Ultimate flagship to find out whether or not it's one of the best value dualcab pickups money can buy.
