Join me for a massive dive into the BiG SiX. In this video, I describe exactly how I use it to mix various Eurorack and synth sources for recording directly to tape. Then I go through some scenarios of using it as an audio interface to my computer and work back to a combined, hybrid workflow of analogue mixing, digital processing, recording and remixing. The BiG SiX is a highspec desktop mixer and audio interface that combines some of the best analogue mixing circuitry around with smooth USB multitracking. SSL sent it to me to see if it would help improve the sound and workflow of my relatively modest synthesizer studio. We shall see.
