I show how to build a Stackable/Tileable Automatic Sugar Cane Farm in this very easy Minecraft Bedrock & Java Edition (1.20+) tutorial. This farm is really easy to build, is full automatic and is stackable/tileable upwards and sideways, so you can make the farm as big as you want.
Every time the sugar cane grows to three high, it gets detected by an observer. The top two sugar cane will be automatically harvested by the pistons and drop down onto the dirt. The hopper minecart underneath picks up all fallen sugar cane and this will then take all items to your storage of choice.

This farm will work for all platforms (MCPE, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC) and it will work on both Bedrock edition and Java edition. This farm works in 1.16+, 1.17+, 1.18+, 1.19+ and 1.20+ as well.

Glass 3 pieces
Observer 1 piece
Piston 1 piece
Redstone dust 1 piece
Solid block 3 pieces
Sugar Cane 1 piece
Water bucket 1 piece

Bottom transport layer for 1 stackable unit
Hopper minecart 1 piece (only 1 needed for the whole farm)
Powered rails 1 piece
Solid blocks 1 piece

Redstone clock (when not using observers)
Blocks for in the hopper 160 (2 stacks + 32 pieces)
Comparator 2 pieces
Hopper 2 pieces
Redstone dust 2 pieces
Redstone torch 7 pieces
