SUMMARY: ESSAY TIPS
1: Use this chance to create your applicant BRAND. Tell a compelling story that formed your values, explain why you want to go where you want to go and be specific how Stanford will help you close the gaps.
2: The essay is about the head space AND the heart space: Share not only what you THINK about the world, but how you FEEL about it
3: Don't rush it. It took me more than 2 months to draft my essays (continuously working on them on the side) and that's ok.
Additional: Use the essay to fill that brand with life (e.g., backstory or specific future vision)
