In 1981, after National Public Radio was sold the rights to Star Wars for $1, the Star Wars Radio Drama was born. Written by Brian Daley, who also wrote the Han Solo Adventures books, and directed by John Madden, the series was released on radio consisting of 13 episodes. Mark Hamill and Anthony Daniels reprise their roles.
