If you saw the Star Wars Outlaws Ubisoft Forward demo you’ll be pleased to know that it plays as well as it looks: the sense of scrambling panic as Kay Vess plunders relics and flees in her own ship, all seamlessly rendered as you travel from space to a planet’s surface. Star Wars Outlaws gameplay hasn’t shown off the full scope of the world yet, but these aren’t just scripted encounters you’re seeing you are free to explore space and get into emergent trouble if you want. It’s everything we’ve wanted to see in a Star Wars game, basically.
