So since we can now customize our ships interiors I decided to finally give a ship building a real try. I tried ship building when the game first came out but found it to be very frustrating since a lot of the interior layout is unknown until you finish building and go inside to check it out. The same problems are still here, I could make a very unappealing exterior of the Ship and only focus on the inside, or I could try both but it can be difficult. The reason I chose some of the pre furnished habs instead of using all empty habs was because I think it works better for some rooms. For example the engineering bay could not have been done by me because we don't have access to all the pipes and industrial items in our build menu. I think it's better to choose empty habs for the living spaces because our build menus in the game have tons of decorations for living/bedroom spaces, not many industrial items though. If you guys want me to do a tutorial on how to build the Ship I will but I was mainly focused on decorating the habs, but I am pleased with how the exterior of the ship turned out. This will probably be my main ship from now on, although its bigger than I'd like. I think my next video will be decorating a pre existing ship and switching out the habs for empty ones.
