When you first, start out in Starfield from the beginning or after a new game plus, you have very few resources. You need credits and resources to upgrade your ships, weapons, and equipment.

Many time, the very first Outpost I will build, when I begin a new game plus in Starfield is to travel to the planet Jemison in the Alpha Centauri star system. On Jemison, I want to create an outpost, where I can craft the Amp Aid Item. To craft amp, you only need three ingredients: Argon Gas, Metabolic Agent and Toxin. You will use an extractor to mine the Argon Gas, and two greenhouses to farm plants that yield the Metabolic Agent and Toxin resources.

When I get to Jemison, I will land many times and use my scanner to find and fully scan these two plants, which will be farmed in the greenhouses.

For Metabolic Agent, fully scan the plant named, Tufted Snow Willow

For toxin, fully scan the plant named, Cold, Cave Nettle

You will need the Botany Skill to farm resources and the two plants above being farmed must first, be fully scanned before you can assign the resource, in the greenhouse’s control panel. So go and get the Botany skill and fully scan the above plants.
