Taken April 16th 2024. As the Barn Wall/Shelf project continues I'm really getting into this project. I got all the framing done and got the sheeting done and nailed down except for the bottom 2 shelfs. My old Skill saw finally gave up and I had to go buy a new one and I got one yesterday and put it to good use right away. Well after an half hour of careful marking and cutting I go to put the sheet in and found out I couldnt get it in because there isnt enough room to set it in so I had to cut it in half to get it in ! I just knew I should have put that sheet in before I started framing in the 2nd shelf, Oh well lessen learned ! After getting the sheet screwed down I started to load up the shelfs and I put them to the test ! I put a pallet that made the skid steer a little tippy on the bottom shelf and it held it and it bowed a little bit but it held it up. I didnt want to push my luck so I pulled that pallet off and put it on the floor and put another pallet of parts on it. I still have some work to do on the shelfs and the wall but the project is still moving forward and I'll get it to a point ware I'm good with it and will move onto a couple of other things that need done like service the tractors and get them ready to go for the year. The 1850 need to get the wide front put under it so that a priority and will be done soon. But for now the wall/shelf project is coming to a close for now and will continue later this summer.
