Thursday 27 June was a day of joy at Midtjyske Jernbaner, as Tørfisken can finally run again.
Back in January 2022, it was decided that Tørfisken should have installed ETCS equipment, and this has taken 2 ½ years to get this installation approved by the Swedish Transport Agency.
Now it must run again, and to that extent it will be needed, as ERTMS is being rolled out between Aarhus and Aalborg during the year.
