Months after the events of State of Decay 2, our group of survivors arrives in a land that we know quite well and that has greatly shaped the events of this universe: Trumbull Valley.

After the end of Heartland, the valley has changed a lot and so have its inhabitants. However, the arrival of our survivors will mark a new stage in the history of this region, while answering great questions that have been raised since the first installment and closing the stories of multiple characters, in a great final adventure that seeks to conclude the Trumbull trilogy.

This is the story of how we returned home.
