State of the summer 2024.

No podcast or video for than a month!

What’s going on?

Summer Bliss?

Or writer’s block.

While procrastination and perfectionism are the enemy of creative flow…

There’s no question the last thirty days or so have been tumultuous.

Certainly there are family and visitors to my lakeside camp domain…

And lots of talk.

Too much talk, actually.

From a creator’s perspective, we are told to ‘lean in’ to current events and developments…

And to create daily.

I refuse to do that because this creator yearns to reach deeper into the psyche for the stuff that has significance; ideas I really want to bring out on these platforms.

Even more I concentrate on #travel #nomadlife and the experiences.

In addition I feel the world is on a path. We might deviate in different ways along the path, but we’re moving down that path.

Another way to explain is to use the example of sailing. Tacking into the wind in a general direction.

In this case ‘the wind’ is the force of nature that determines our general direction.

Hence, The Path.

The force of nature might be referred to as God’s Plan…basically that which we have no control over. We think we do though.

And the reason there is so much content about current events is…there’s so much video content about current events!

People want to share things they have heard as though they have some control over outcomes.

And of course media tends to want you believe they have some foreknowledge to the point where they can tell you the future.

Yet we can’t even predict the weather.

Finally I delve into fine of the distractions I’ve had lately.

An audio book about Blanche Barrow’s time with Bonnie and Clyde.

And a glorious canoe ride under the northern lights.
