In this video i talk about a STC1000 temerature controller i bought for a project that cost £8.50 delivered.When it arrived it was incredabily light so i cracked it open to find this minimalist circuitry that does the job well. i have been looking into circutry like this for a while for some projects but ended up using a diffent methood of ac to dc rectification.
Now i have discovered the LP2188A chip and its circuit design i will conduct some experiments to test it out for some projects
I also cover the adjustment of the controller:
F1 being your temerature set point.
F2 being your plus and minus temerature.
F3 being your time delay on cooling relay in minutes. if your using a compressor for cooling so you dont keep cycling the compressor causing issues
F4 your calibration adjustment ofset on the ntc sensor
please note when buying cheap chineese electronics and electricals some of it is a cheap rubbish that is dangerous. so if your not electrically qualified and you dont know what your looking at dont buy it. its not worth the risk. i will leave a link to electrical safety first website.
