During Auckland Anniversary weekend 2024, the Glenbrook Vintage Railway in conjunction with the Franklin machinery club ran the steam and vintage harvest festival. During the weekend, the GVR offered train rides behind their WW class steam locomotives along with having many of their vintage diesel locomotives on display. The Franklin vintage machinery club displayed many vintage tractors and farming machinery for the public to view. On Monday the 29th January, I visited the GVR to spot the trains and view the vintage machinery on display.
