I tuned this Steinway model M today, I have been tuning this instrument for the past 6 years (since it was new). In the past it was tuned either aurally or with the Tunelab app. Today I tuned using the Pianoscope app. As I am recovering from a cold I tuned the single strings using the app and wore earplugs (my ears are still very sensitive from my cold). After the first pass, which took longer than tuning by ear, the tuning was very stable and the second pass was very short. After I played through the pieces at the end of the video I corrected a few notes which I noticed weren’t sitting the way I wanted them to.
