To be completely honest, when my Nautique first arrived with a Stern Thruster on my boat, I thought I wouldn't use it. I've been driving boats for over 30 years and assumed it was a crutch for people who didn't know how to drive boats. I couldn't have been more wrong! The stern thruster allows you to handle your boat in a totally new way and it's something I use every day I take my boat out.
To be completely honest, when someone's boat doesn't have it, I have to be so much more aware of what's happening because the thruster allows me to get in and out of situations so much easier!
If you're a doubter or a hater, you probably haven't tried it.
