May 2023 the FDA announced that it will be requiring new black box warnings for all stimulants, alerting patients and professionals about the risk of misuse and abuse with these drugs. Why are we stigmatizing patients and confusing the public when people with ADHD behave like they have ADHD? How do we sort out what are problems for individuals or society, and what are inconveniences or annoyances for doctors or insurance companies?
