The Pirelli Classic Marathon is a celebration of a Golden Era of British rallying, bringing together an amazing collection of vintage cars for an epic journey across Europe and open to cars over 20 years old.

In 1989, a fantastic lineup of cars and competitors gathered in London for the start of the 2,000mile event that would cross six countries.

Among the determined drivers were some real stars, including Stirling Moss at the wheel of an MGB, Paddy Hopkirk in a Mini Cooper S, Roger Clarke and codriver Tony Mason in a Ford Cortina, and Scandinavian World Rally greats Ove Andersson and Timo Makinen.
