##Video recorded on March 28, 2024
Stéphane Déo, Senior Manager at ELEVA Capital, wisely advised to invest in stocks when he joined us on @Synapses in October 2023. The stock market has soared since then, with the CAC 40, like its American counterparts, breaking records.

As Jerome Powell, the chairman of the United States Federal Reserve (Fed), confirmed that interest rate cuts would indeed occur in 2024 and that the strength of the U.S. economy remains unwavering, the stock markets seem to have a clear path ahead of them. Are the Nasdaq, the S&P 500, and the CAC 40 assured of reaching new heights?
Things are not always as straightforward as they seem, according to Stéphane Déo. He suggests that there is still a risk that the Fed's interest rate cuts may come much later than investors anticipate. This scenario is all the more plausible as inflation has not completely retreated, and the U.S. economy has good chances of performing well in the coming months.
In this context, not being exposed to stocks is undoubtedly a mistake, but doing so blindly would be even more serious. What strategy should one adopt? Stéphane Déo provides the answer.
