Making cheese at home using this recipe is very simple. You need only 3 ingredients and literally 10 minutes of your time. The result is a very soft and tender homemade cheese with a creamy melting texture, perfect for breakfast with tea or coffee with toast and honey. I don't see the point in comparing it with the store one, it has its own taste and a simplified cooking technology. The salinity can be adjusted to your taste, you can also add spices or herbs.
Milk 1 l
Sour cream 200 gr
Eggs 3 pcs.
Salt 1 tsp
Cheese yield: 365390 gr
1. Heat milk to a boil, add salt.
2. Mix eggs with sour cream and pour into milk. Bring the mixture to a boil. Boil for 57 minutes until large flakes appear.
3. Line the colander with 2 layers of gauze, strain the mass. Put a saucer and a weight of 12 kg on top. Leave in this position until it cools completely.
4. The cheese is ready. Perfect with tea or coffee for breakfast.
