After storm Ylenia and storm Zynep, storm Antonia has managed the crowning glory at Düsseldorf Airport.

Schedule: Gusts of 55 Knots during the night, then sunshine and in the afternoon strong storm from the southwest with continuous rain. When the storm then turned to west – i.e. to cross wind – and the gusts got stronger, the pilots had to show their skills.
5 times the pilots aborted the landing for safety reasons and decided to go around.

My film position in the parking garage was subject to a jet effect with even more wind, which can be seen from the trembling of the telephoto lens and the sound recordings in the film.
I spent a total of 6 hours there and from the video footage I created a film of the entire afternoon and this short version with focus to the strong Crosswind and to the 5 goarounds.
