The wire which has multiple core or small pics of wires Copper or Aluminium inside it this wire is known as Standard Wire or multiple core wire. the wire which has only one core of copper or aluminium is known as Solid wire or single core wire.
The the question is which is best for us Standard wire or multiple wire, which wire type has low resistivity, which wire can carry high amount of current. there are multiple questions which effect for choosing the correct wire for our use.
