At it's core, this is what Van Life is really all about. Simply using your van, or in our case an almost van, to live life... and do all you can do, see all you can see... on a whim. In a world where everyone is in such a hurry, with so many appointments and destinations wrestling for their time and attention, wouldn't it be nice to be in a different country with none of that? No real destination in mind... no appointments or bookings... just time to explore what's in front of you. We found that sometimes when you travel on a whim what's in front of you is perhaps a great spot by the ocean, or it's a generous local taking time to invite you to a celebration of youth and their Celtic music. Or maybe it's 20mile bike ride and your dog chasing sticks that are floating in the Bay of Fundy tide. Or it's a hike that's so strenuous it takes ropes and foot ladders to get you to the end. Or it could be making a wrong turn in the middle of nowhere and continuing on over a mountain in Nova Scotia just to see where it goes.
