In this video dr karthikeyan explains about the stroke symptoms and origin of stroke, blood clot and thrombus in brain, hemorrhage in brain leg with the help of diagram of brain and its blood supply (circle of willis). Further various reasons for stroke (பக்கவாதம்) such as high blood pressure, smoking, uncontrolled diabetes, high blood sugar levels, physical inactivity and lack of exercise are explained followed by the first aid modalities for management of stroke (pakkavatham in tamil). Doctor karthikeyan ends the video by explaining about the treatment modalities available for treatment of stroke.
