Here's a quick walkaround of the Flying Heritage and Combat Armor Museum's Junkers Ju87 R4 Stuka project that will be restored to flying condition and will be powered by none other than a real, working Jumo engine.

Only real change since they unveiled it is fresh paint on the fuselage and wings. Initially the blue on the bottom was too glossy, so they sent it back and redid it. It's super convenient having an excellent paint shop right at the airport here. Other new stuff I saw included the MASSIVE main landing gear. The photos here don't do justice at all. Those things are HUGE!

Got some shots of a section of original aft fuselage showcasing the many layers of colors the original had. Initially it was going to Afrika and was painted with the desert tan in the factory. Then it was sent to the Eastern Front.

With the holidays being this week, there won't be any additional work done on the aircraft. The restorers are still waiting for a considerable amount of parts to arrive from Hungary, where it was restored up to its current condition. Until those parts, and personnel arrive, there's not much to do except paint and prep.

Wheel pants are soon to be painted.

I'll keep posting here and on my Facebook page (Fight to Fly Photography) with updates from each of my visits. Be sure to ask questions below and I'll do what I can to get them answered!
