Join me onboard an easyJet Airbus A319111 as we takeoff from Split and head back towards the UK. We begin outside the aircraft, soaking up the last few rays of Croatian sunshine. Before long we're onboard and taxying to the runway, today we will use runway 23 for departure, although the easyJet before us took off on runway 05. Runway 23 will give us a small shortcut. There's no taxiway alongside the runway so we enter runway 05 and 'backtrack' to the turning bay before spinning all the way round ready for our departure. Without delay takeoff power is set and we're off. Croatia is an absolutely stunning country and I'd recommend anyone to visit if you haven't already look at the beautiful scenery as we climb. A little later and we're abeam the gorgeous Kornati National Park, before passing over Zadar Airport. Before the video ends we catch a glimpse of the impressive Velebit moutain range. ✈
