Sufiyon Ki Vaadi I صوفیوں کی وادی

The current episode focuses on Sufism, Sufi saints, and their significance not only in the Kashmir Valley but also across different parts of the country.
Numerous places in India have been sanctified by these Sufi saints who preached peace and brotherhood.
One such example is the Abba Bapu Dargah in Gujarat, India, which transcends religious boundaries. Abba Bapu, a revered Sufi saint known for promoting unity, is venerated by Hindus and Muslims alike.
Annually, the Dargah hosts a wellattended Urs festival that celebrates this harmony. The festival includes a mela (fair) featuring music from both religions and a strictly vegetarian feast, honoring Bapu's respect for all faiths. Proceeds from the festival support a cow shelter, demonstrating the Dargah's commitment to community service.
The Urs of Bapu is held each year in Varwala village, meticulously organized by members of the Abba Bapu Dargah Committee where Hindus and Muslims collaborate. The fair spans two days and features simultaneous Qawwali and Hindu bhajan kirtan programs.
Hundreds of thousands of people gather for this fair, notable for its peaceful atmosphere and absence of criminal activities, as everyone joins together to enjoy rides, food stalls, entertainment, and gaming zones, with special arrangements for children.
Sufi saints like Abba Bapu have propagated the message of spiritualism and harmony in India. Their teachings continue to play a vital role in fortifying the fabric of secularism in our country.
