A lengthy feature video of my late July 2017 trip to Gangler's Burnie Lake outpost camp located in far northern Manitoba.
The premise for this entire trip was to try and show that large pike can indeed be caught during the heat of summer and not just in early spring.
My 10 year old son Brendan and I did that in spades. We ending setting a new camp record for number of trophy pike AND my boy also caught a new camp record for the largest fish 461/2 inches caught on a topwater lure!
An absolutely incredible trip to an incredible lake with one of the very best outfitters in the entire country!
