The Second World War gave rise to a whole generation of tank destroyers. Combining heavier firepower in a more economically affordable package, tank destroyers were produced and used by all warring nations. As a result of it’s war situation, Germany became practically the most prolific user of tank destroyers, as it sought to counter the evergrowing armored columns of the allied powers. One such tank destroyer was the Jagdpanther.
