The innervation of the suprahyoid muscle is as follows: The posterior belly of digastric and the stylohyoid are innervated by the facial nerve. The anterior belly of digastrics and the mylohyoid are innervated by mylohyoid nerve (a branch of the inferior alveolar nerve).
All the four paired infrahyoid muscle are innervated by the ansa cervicalis (C1C3).
