Surfing Santa Cruz can be Dangerous. Some inexperienced surfers got caught by a set of big waves while surfing at Pleasure Point. When surfing waves of this size it is important that you learn how to duck dive or turtle your surfboard to get through such powerful surf and not get pushed back towards the shore.
