I live in an amazing place called The Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. It's located in the northeastern tip of South Africa in what we call The Lowveld. The region is bestknown for the Kruger National Park and our estate actually borders the Greater Kruger a gigantic open wildlife haven that incorporates the Kruger National Park and all its private neighbouring properties to the west.

My wife, Tabby, and I have lived on the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate for just over 10 years now and finally I've decided to share this special kind of living with you. A life where you are constantly surrounded by animals and where we all share this paradise we call home.

In this first episode I give you a bit of a lie of the land and tell you what you can expect from this new series. I also show you where's I've placed my first four trail cameras with which I plan to capture what the animals that live here are up to when we aren't looking.
