In the savannah, relationships between males and females are often complex and unpredictable. Although some males are attractive and powerful, they face major challenges in order to reproduce. Females, often dominant, carefully choose their partners, requiring patience and physical prowess. Whether it is elephants, leopards, hyenas or giraffes, each species develops particular strategies to attract the other. Competition is fierce, courtship rituals vary, and romantic encounters are not always successful, despite the intense efforts made by the males.
