CW: This episode contains graphic descriptions of childhood sexual abuse, pedophilia, incest, and suicide.

Childhood sexual abuse by a family member is unfortunately more common than many people realize. Approximately one in four girls and one in six boys experience some form of sexual abuse before age 18, often perpetrated by a family member. This abuse can lead to severe physical, emotional, and mental consequences, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, low selfesteem, and difficulty forming healthy relationships. It's crucial to recognize the signs of abuse, provide support and resources for children, and work towards preventing and addressing childhood sexual abuse within families.
