On Thursday July 11th, the final appearance of the late Bill Hayes (Doug) is streaming on Peacock on Days of our Lives, in scenes with his reallife wife, Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie). As Doug and Julie, the longtime duo were daytime soap opera's first supercouple. Sadly, Bill passed away at the age of 98yearsold back in January of this year.

Now, DAYS fans will see the last onscreen moments between Doug and Julie, which is part of television history. In a very candid, emotional and heartfelt interview, Susan opens up about taping those final scenes with Bill, how she changed the dialog to make it be what she felt it needed to convey, where the genesis of Doug's final line to Julie came from, and more.

In addition, Susan shares for the first time the final moments of Bill's life, how she has continued to solider on to play Julie without Doug, working in current story with Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera) and much more.
