Never change a winning team even though the Suzuki Swift is a solosporter, Suzuki chose wisely not to make too many changes when developing the new Swift. It is heavily based on the platform of the third generation Swift, but Suzuki developed a brand new engine: the Z12E. At first sight the drivetrain isn't really special, until you look at the fine print. This new engine is something special built to last.
