Vic Firth Artist Svet Stoyanov, together with past Frost Percussion Group members, Ksenija Komljenović, Mitiya Nilov, Kiril Angelov and Matt Nichols, present “Kyoto” by John Psathas.
Written in 2011 for the Ju Percussion Group, the title of the work is inspired by a 1976 improvisation by pianist Keith Jarrett recorded in Kyoto, Japan.
