Travel with Kohistani - گردش با کوهستانی

In this episode of my road trip from Sweden to Afghanistan, I begin my adventure by visiting an Afghan district located just outside Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. Here, I explore lives of Afghan immigrants who have made Tajikistan their home.
The area is bustling with vibrant markets, traditional Afghan shops, and a unique cultural blend. As I walk through the streets, I interact with locals, listen to their stories, and learn about their challenges and triumphs living away from their homeland.

Continuing my journey, I head to a local bakery where hardworking Tajik women are at the helm, baking traditional bread that is a must in every household. These women, with their remarkable dedication and skill, are an inspiring testament to the strength and perseverance of Tajik women. I interview them, hey share their daily routines, the joys, and challenges of their work, and their dreams for the future.

The final segment of this episode addresses the question that has been on everyone’s mind: will I cross the border into Afghanistan? After months of traveling along the Afghan border, experiencing the landscapes, and interacting with people who have shared their insights and concerns, I weigh my decision carefully. I discuss the advice and opinions from my family and friends, the emotional and physical challenges of the journey, and the significance of fulfilling my dream. This part of the video is a heartfelt reflection on my journey so far and the crucial decision that lies ahead.
