The starter kit comes with the mop, 1 bottle of cleaning solution, original cleaning pad and extra power pad. The pads are disposable.
The mop operates on 4 AA batteries which are not included. Don’t use rechargeable batteries. The mop can be used on finished wood and laminate floors, vinyl and linoleum, ceramic tiles and natural and marble stone. 1 original pad should clean 2 rooms, 323 square feet or 30 square meters. The included solution is 500 ml which is good for about 4 rooms.

Vacuum or sweep the floor before using the wet jet. It’s not designed to pick up hair and large particles. Place the solution into the slot with the arrow side against the pole. Don’t puncture the cap. The housing will do that for you. Hold the button for 34 seconds to spray the solution and mop. The sprayer has 2 nozzles so the solution sprays evenly in front of the mop. The scrubbing strip is for dried on messes. You don’t have to rinse after mopping. The floor dries very quickly after mopping and there’s no stickiness or streaking. To replace the solution, push the purple button and it’ll release the bottle. You can change the solution at any time, it won’t leak if you take it out when it’s not empty. There are different scents and types of swiffer wet jet solutions that you can purchase separately.

The swiffer wet jet is lightweight and has a swivel head. The mop is narrow and will get into tight areas. The smell of the solution is not bad, it’s not overpowering. Overall it’s less messy than a regular mop and bucket. The biggest pro is that it’s super convenient. It's also affordable.
