The Swing Era was an enormously important period in jazz, with some of the most iconic music and musicians created timeless music, that we continue to perform to this day.

With this lesson series, you will learn authentic techniques and methods from this style of jazz soloing of the 1920s1940s.

By the end of this series, and with just a few simple concepts (and some practice!), you will be improvising in a more effective and authentic swing style!

You will develop important improvisational techniques while you learn important swing repertoire.. and most importantly, it will be fun!
