Insight into the extraordinary courage of the Royal Navy's aviators is given in this video by Terry Goddard, a Canadian who was Observer of the last Swordfish torpedobomber to attack the German battleship Bismarck on 26 May 1941.

Terry was filmed some years ago during a special project by Iain Ballantyne and cameraman Stuart Antrobus. It provided unique eyewitness testimony from British veterans that featured in the TV documentary 'Bismarck: 24 Hours to Doom', based on the Iain Ballantyne book of the same name.

Transcripts of the WW2 Royal Navy veterans accounts to camera formed the basis of that work, which is now available in a paperback and digital edition from publishers Canelo Books.
