In this video, we are going to learn about Symmetric and Skew Symmetric Matrix.

Symmetric matrix :
A symmetric matrix is a square matrix that is equal to transpose of itself. If A is a symmetric matrix, then it satisfies the condition: A = AT

Skew Symmetric matrix :
A skew symmetric matrix is a square matrix whose transpose equals its negative. It should satisfy the below condition:
AT = – A

If aij represents the value of ith row and jth column, then the skew symmetric matrix condition is given by;
aij = aji
