Did you know that the signs and symptoms of a heart attack are different in men and women? DaMarcus Baymon, MD, Emergency Medicine Physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Faulkner Hospital, explains what to do if someone is having a heart attack and what to look out for.

Heart attack symptoms include chest pain or pressure, shortness of breath, and nausea. If you suspect a heart attack, call for emergency help immediately. Giving emergency medication like aspirin or nitroglycerine (if it’s been prescribed), performing handsonly CPR, and using an AED can all help reduce damage to the heart and save lives.
