When legendary singersongwriter and titan of tone Brad Paisley needed an amp to capture his distinct sonic vision, he collaborated with Dr. Z and the late Ken Fischer of Trainwreck Amps. Several oneoff amps later, this meeting of the minds would ultimately birth mass production of the Z Wreck amp from Dr. Z, alongside the Z Wreck Jr. amp. Thanks to the meticulous, collaborative efforts of Dr. Z and Synergy, Synergy has painstakingly crafted a 2channel preamp module that faithfully captures the unrivaled, edgeofoverdrive character that defined its spiritual predecessor. Synergy’s latest sonic innovation and Dr. Z’s aid in developing module’s phase inverter and zerowatt sections have led to an unprecedented recreation of the original power amp’s influence on Paisley’s own feel and tone.
