Syria children of war

For Special Envoy and LCP National Assembly, Bernie Bonvoisin, director, actor, writer, singer of the group Trust and Pedro Brito Da Fonseca went to film Syrian children in refugee camps in Lebanon.

Bernie Bonvoisin and his codirector Pedro Brito Da Fonseca chose to give voice to Chaïma, Qussai, Marwan and Imane, with modesty. These children who fled the war now live in extremely vulnerable situations and some have been exposed to serious human rights violations. Their maturity, their strength, their tenacity “struck” the singer of Trust.

Through this film, the directors provide rare testimonies on the war in Syria and exile, all carried by the committed tone of Bernie Bonvoisin:
“I came to Lebanon to see what was happening with these hordes of dead people who were storming our borders, to steal our jobs and burn through our benefits. I got my ass off my couch, turned off my TV after 59 months of watching the Syrian people get crushed in dizzying silence. ”

To Marwan, 13, a refugee in a camp, who picks potatoes for a salary of two euros a day, Bernie Bonvoisin explains: “I saw dogs tied to a post who were treated better. At the same time, for a guy who lives in a pond, who works four months in a row and who is content with two days of recuperation, you have a fairground potato Marwan! ”

“I saw the light in the middle of this misery, between two gardens, in these children who, without a doubt, can be the future of Syria. The antidote to hatred remains discernment,” explained Bernie Bonvoisin.
