This weekend saw the debut of the Sywell Airshow, an event anticipated eagerly by so many aviation enthusiasts due to the nature of the flying display lineup as well as the location.

The flying display featured numerous warbirds from the UK and in Europe, including Spitfire RM927, The Flying Bulls' P51, F4U, B25 & P38, as well as aerobatic displays from a Gamebird GB1and 46 Aviation's Boeing Stearman. The display was opened by a unique flypast of Mustang, Thunderbolt and F35A Lightning II, the full video of which can be found here    • Sywell Airshow 2024 | The Opening Fly...  

The daytime display concluded with a performance by a 9ship of Supermarine Spitfires of various marks. A few passes in formation before breaking off into a tailchase a wonderful way to end the first day of the air show.
