Today's programme is broadcast on a Saturday. So far so good. It lasts slightly less than the other programmes of the week. Everything is normal. We deal with a more concrete and more complicated topic. Nothing new. However, it is presented by the great David Antón. As Pau was in charge of preparing Monday's History programme, the tables have turned and it's David's turn to prepare a subject that (it's assumed) interests him. Pierre Boulez was one of the most important composers of the 20th century, the last of a line of composers who were also excellent conductors. In this programme, we analyse the career of the French musician, full of curious little details that enrich the legend of one of the most important names in contemporary music. From his beginnings with Olivier Messiaen to the founding of IRCAM, today we will try to bring Boulez's music closer to all those of you who think it's just random noise. Spoiler alert: you are not misguided.
