Here is a summary of the development and realization of a tail wheel fairing for the SPEEDJOJO. The goal is, of course, to improve performance in speed, consumption and rate of climb. It was also necessary to fix the underlying problem of an important shimmy of the tail wheel that existed before the installation of the fairing. The problem was solved by deleting games in the spring blade package. The specifications of the fairing must allow its use on rough terrain without deterioration. The front sabot of the moving part is particularly reinforced for shocks and is able to support the entire weight normally recovered by the tail wheel, thanks to the internal structure.
